Boards & modules

Similar-looking boards can have very different material status. Establish their nature and intended route first.

Begin with the information available. Uncertain details can be clarified in turn.

PROJECT NOTES

Make the scope specific.

01

Describe the source

State whether the items are surplus stock, returns, repair replacements or from discarded equipment. Disclose contamination, residues, damage and any prior dismantling.

02

A name is not a classification

“Board” or “module” does not establish material status. Uncertain items and those subject to special requirements need review before a route can be agreed.

03

Separate acceptance from treatment

Items requiring specific authorisation or treatment conditions need a suitably authorised recipient. Do not mix or ship them before confirmation.

Q & A

Before we start.

Can I send a mixed box of discarded boards?

Please do not ship without confirmation. First provide the type, source, condition and location so classification, acceptance and transport arrangements can be reviewed.

LET’S TALK

Start with a clear list.

Tell us the material, quantity and condition. Then we can discuss what comes next.
