PROJECT NOTES

Make the scope specific.

01

Assets and authority

List equipment categories, asset IDs, quantities, accessories and known condition. Identify who can authorise transfer and what is excluded.

02

Identify data-bearing items

List disks, memory cards and devices that may retain accounts or configurations separately. An authorised person must decide the data-handling method and responsibility.

03

Record the agreed route

Distinguish assessment for whole-device reuse, parts use and appropriate treatment. Agree the route and available records before acceptance.

Q & A

Before we start.

Does collection mean data has been erased?

No. Data erasure or destruction requires its own agreed method, responsible party and verification. Removal of equipment does not establish completion.

LET’S TALK

Start with a clear list.

Tell us the material, quantity and condition. Then we can discuss what comes next.
